Please note that accommodation is allocated on a \u201cfirst-come, first-served\u201d basis, therefore we cannot guarantee that accommodation will be available at short notice. \u00a0The cost of accommodation is \u00a35 per night.\u00a0 Airport pickup can be provided upon request for \u00a330 roundtrip.\u00a0 All non-residents medical elective students are required to pay an administrative charge of 300 Euros which should be received upon arrival.<\/p><p><strong><u>IMPORTANT<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p><ol><li>Women Empowerment Project International does not cover students on attachment with liability insurance. All students are required to take out personal accident insurance for the duration of their stay at the Charity.<\/li><li>You must notify us before hand if your Institution has any Terms\/Conditions attached to doing electives abroad. This will enable us to study these terms\/conditions to ascertain whether they are agreeable to us or not.<\/li><\/ol><h5><u>Registration <\/u><\/h5><p>Please return the completed form accompanied by a cover letter explaining:<\/p><p>Why you wish to have an attachment at WEPI the Gambia;<\/p><p>What skills or knowledge you could bring to your attachment;<\/p><p>Which unit or area you would want to be attached in (\u201cany\u201d or \u201call\u201d as an answer is not sufficient);<\/p><p>Dates when you would want to have the attachment.<\/p><p>Unless you are a school leaver applying for \u201cWork Experience\u201d you should also include a letter from your Educational Institution recommending you for the attachment.<\/p><p>All attachments are for a minimum period of 6 weeks.
